I’ve always bonded most with cats. They have a calming presence, and I truly enjoy the time I spend with them.
-
What is your pet’s name and how did you choose it?
My dog’s name is Bo, and he’s named after Bo Bichette, a Toronto Blue Jays baseball player.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing sick animals heal and thrive after treatment. It’s incredible to witness their progress and know I’ve played a part in their recovery.
-
What inspired you to work in veterinary medicine?
When my childhood dog was sick, the veterinary technicians and doctors were so compassionate and attentive—not just to my dog but also to my family. Their kindness and care inspired me to pursue a career where I could provide the same level of support to both animals and their owners.

What advice would you give to pet owners to ensure their pets live healthy lives?
Preventative blood work is essential! It provides us with baseline values for your pet’s health and allows us to detect any changes in their body before symptoms appear. It’s a proactive way to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy.
