Happy Puppy Health Plan

The Oromocto Veterinary Hospital would like to congratulate you on the newest addition to your family! We hope your puppy will be an enjoyable and happy addition to your life for many years to come.

The Happy Puppy Health Plan is designed to provide your puppy with a complete immunization, deworming and consultation program to support your dog through its critical growth phase. The health plan includes nutritional, dental and behavioural consultation as well as free hospital examinations up to five (5) months of age. Regular fees apply to medication, surgery, treatments and emergency care during this health plan period.

Depending upon the type of plan (Three Visit or Four Visit, see below), you will save 20-30% when compared to the standard prices for these services.

The Happy Puppy Health Plan will include required vaccinations at each of three visits. By the completion of the plan, your dog will be immunized against: Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Leptospirosis, Bordatella (Kennel Cough) and Rabies. At each visit, your puppy will be dewormed against roundworm and hookworm. A fecal sample analysis done during the last visit will determine if there are intestinal parasites that require further deworming. We will discuss and recommend the appropriate flea, heartworm and tick preventative medications so that you may best protect your dog.

When you take advantage of our expertise as well as the other information available to you during the hospital visits, you are doing your best to keep your new puppy as happy and healthy as possible. And be sure to check here for hints on socializing your new puppy.
